THE INTEGRAL

Departing from Seyssel, you will sail on the old Rhone at the heart of the reserve Natura 2000 and will join the village of Chanaz situated on the edges of the Savière Canal. Finally, you will finish your day on the Bourget lake in Conjux. This descent of 6 hours is a good way to discover the heart of a nature reserve where there are some little, funny and easy rapids accessible for everyone. During the descent, you will find some beaches to picnic. Lots of different birds and the mysterious beaver of Europe live in the reserve Nautra 2000 of Malourdie’s isles.

When you will arrive in Chanaz, you will discover the Savoy village, its base and its houses on stilts. The “little Savoyard Venice” will seduce you with its authenticity. You will finish your ride by sailing on a part of the ancestral Savières canal which will guide you on the biggest lake in France: the Bourget lake.
