THE CHANAZIENNE

Departing from Seyssel, you will sail on the wild Rhone in the heart of the reserve Natura 2000 and will join the village of Chanaz situated on the edge of the Savières Canal. During the descent, you will find some beaches to picnic. Lots of different birds and the mysterious beaver of Europe live in the reserve Nautra 2000 of Malourdie’s isles.

When you will arrive in Chanaz, you will discover the Savoy village, its base and its houses on stilts. The “little Savoyard Venice” will seduce you with its authenticity. You will finish your ride by sailing on a part of the Savière canal and will discover the charm of this places sitting comfortably on your canoe kayak.
